Scott Bowden has a history of writing excellent books on the armies of the Napoleonic Wars and this one is certainly not an exception. This book has tons of information about the armies themselves; army records ie. standing strengths by corp, divisions, regiments and battalions. About 60% of the book is taken up disclosing these different facts and figures. That is definitely the strength of this book.
